Darren Millar: Good morning, and welcome to the first meeting of the Public Accounts Committee in the new Assembly term.

 

 

You are welcome to speak in Welsh and English according to preference. Headsets are available for members of the public to hear the translation—the headsets can also be used to amplify the sound by those who are hard of hearing. I ask everybody to switch off their mobile phones, BlackBerrys and pagers, because these can interfere with the broadcasting equipment. In an emergency, if the fire alarms do go off, the ushers will instruct everybody as to what they must do and, if necessary, direct them to the nearest appropriate exit.

 

 

I see that we have a full house, so there are no apologies and substitutions to note.
